Dave Wheeler is now well established in his second spell as the Professional at Crewe Golf Club.
Dave has played on both the European Tour and the European Seniors Tour. He has held the Cheshire PGA Matchplay Championship on two occasions as well as numerous victories in Pro-Ams both in this country and abroad. The most notable being the Lisbon National Pro-Am at Penha Longa in Portugal, where David started with seven straight birdies for a final round of 9 under par.
At various stages David has held course records at Lymm, Congleton, Bull Bay, Bradley Park, Penha Longa, Crewe, Bramhall, Heyrose and Swinton Park.
In 1997 he was extremely proud to be the Captain of the North Region PGA.
